Use the Network API
Understand API credentials, Model Build availability, and Credit before the hosted path is released.
Release status
DevelopmentOutcome
Create an API key in the web account and call a released Model Build through the hosted API when availability and policy are published.
Prerequisites
- A hosted account
- A web-created API key
- An available Model Build
- Sufficient Credit under released policy
Current path
- The account Overview currently lists safe API-key metadata without returning secret values.
- Key creation, one-time reveal, and revocation belong to the web account; the CLI does not manage public API keys.
- Request examples will be published only after they pass against the released hosted API.
- Model compatibility, availability, usage, and Credit will use authoritative Network state rather than marketing estimates.
Authoritative success state
A released API response plus authoritative usage and Credit records. This end-to-end production state is not yet published.
Common failures and recovery
- Revoke a credential from the web account if it may be exposed.
- Do not use a private device credential as a hosted API key.
Security and privacy boundary
Hosted Network requests are Shared Inference and may be visible to OpenToken and the selected contributor. Use Private Access for sensitive owned-device workloads.
